This pop-up shop was developed for select Nordstrom stores throughout the United States. The design takes its inspiration from the collection of menswear it houses.  An enticing, shifting moiré effect is created through the interaction of graphic patterns applied to the translucent blue exterior walls and the solid interior walls.  The rotated central volume creates an interstitial space between the layers of pattern which signals a true shift in experience from the surrounding store.  In the central space, the clean white walls allow the hanging garments to assert themselves as the visual excitement.
