The Cartier Shape Your Time exhibit was developed as an immersive environment for hosting specialized events and dinners while highlighting male-oriented Cartier products. Placed within a suburban Japanese home designed by Tadao Ando, the exhibit was designed to cohesively interact with different spaces within the residential environment. On the ground floor, free-standing furniture pieces, such as a writing desk, corrugated screen, dining table and lounge, were designed with integrated display elements. These details emphasized how Cartier products seamlessly integrate into the Japanese lifestyle. The lower level, with access to the garden, included a field of roman-numeral column displays that highlight Cartier products in a graphic and serene environment. A linear, interactive, display element spans the length of the connecting gallery space creating a rhythmic and geometric element, which highlights the lineage of Cartier products.
